St. Lawrence University seeks to fill a Research and Instruction Librarian position. The Research and Instruction Librarian is responsible for providing research help, instruction, and programming that enhances the student academic experience:

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinating research instruction in the First Year Program
• Providing research assistance to students through individual and group consultations and training
• Presenting course-integrated library research instruction in collaboration with faculty
• Planning and implementing library engagement, marketing, and outreach activities

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• MLS/MLIS from an ALA-accredited university
• Two years of experience at an academic library
• Experience in reference and instruction
• Commitment to and enthusiasm for liberal arts education and outstanding service to the academic community

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in engagement, marketing, outreach, and/or digital scholarship preferred
